Privacy policy for Word Replace

Word Replace is built so that find-and-replace never needs a server. This page explains what that means in practice.

Text processing

Anything you paste is processed in your browser. We do not upload drafts, store them, or send them to a third party. Find and replace, word replace all, copy, and download run on your device.

Local draft

The editor may keep a copy in local storage so a refresh does not wipe the page. That copy never leaves the browser. Press New to remove it.

Accounts and cookies

There are no user accounts. We do not set tracking cookies or run advertising pixels. We do not build a profile from the words you paste.

Contact form

Contact opens your mail app. We only receive the name, email, and message you include. That mail is used to reply and is not sold.

Hosting and logs

The host may keep IP, user agent, and request time for uptime. Those logs do not include editor contents. They may include the page path.

Fonts and assets

The layout loads a web font from Google Fonts. Your browser makes that request. The editor does not send your draft with it.

Children

The site is a general writing utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Write to [email protected] to delete a message sent by a child.

Your choices

Use Word Replace without sending mail. Refuse local storage in the browser. Copy the result and close the tab. There is no account to delete. Last updated October 21, 2026.
